Job Purpose:
Looking for an experienced Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer to join a reputable and growing organization to provide enterprise level Cyber Security expertise to the organizations’ sales team.

In this role you are required to provide an excellent understanding of cyber security concepts and principles to provide strategic guidance on how clients can implement this organizations’ products to protect their information from cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities:    

  • Support the account executives on high level engagements
  • Lead the development of solutions, proposals, tenders and contracts
  • Deliver presentations to client executives and key stakeholders
  • Deliver new sales/revenue growth on enterprise client accounts
  • Develop key client relationships
  • Support account executives with account planning and strategies
  • Be familiar with developing Australian Government regulations and cyber security standards
  • Promote a high-performing culture within the services departments, fostering innovation and positive change  

Key Skills Required:    

  • Previous experience in a hands-on Cyber Security technical role
  • Previous experience within a consulting/presales role
  • Proficient at proposal writing 
  • Knowing how to apply ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST and ISM to customer environments
  • Knowledge of Splunk and Azure
  • Ability to strategically guide and implement secure enterprise level solutions
  • Knowledgeable in IT service management processes
  • Ability to develop/expand cyber security services and product support
  • Ability to manage a high cadence of client, vendor and internal interactions
  • Proficient understanding of cyber threat tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Good understanding of the functions and limitations of a SOC
  • Understanding of industry best practices for security architecture frameworks, tools, standards and guidelines
