An enterprise level organisation within the insurance/finance sector is seeking to enhance their data capabilities by bringing in a Data Ops Engineer to provide strong, hands-on technical capabilities while providing guidance around architecture, design, and release management.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables
- Champion data management best practices
- Help establish DataOps platforms, processes and frameworks to improve data pipeline management
- Manage data pipelines
- Collaborate with technical experts to design integrated data applications
- Develop production ready data application and pipelines in cloud ecosystem
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in DataOps or relevant role such as exp. across data management disciplines (integration, modelling, optimisation, data quality etc.)
- Excellent understanding of CI/CD pipelines and quantitative and analytical skills using big data
- Extensive end-to-end experience with Data Marts, Data Warehouse, Data Lake applications using ETL
- DevOps
- 5+ years experience with BI software tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.)
