In this role, you will take ownership of user education, guiding employees to become power users of the Microsoft ecosystem. As the go-to person for all things Microsoft, you will create a culture where technology drives efficiency, collaboration, and productivity. Your focus will be on empowering users through training, support, and best-practice advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the internal champion of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and more. Inspire and engage users to maximize their use of these tools.
- Design and deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to ensure users fully understand the capabilities of the Microsoft suite. Help users transition from basic usage to advanced, productivity-enhancing techniques.
- Provide tailored advice on how to best leverage the company’s Microsoft environment to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and boost productivity. Encourage adoption of advanced features and integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Develop user-friendly guides, how-to videos, and other educational resources to support continuous learning. Ensure that learning materials are accessible and easy to understand for users of all levels.
- Foster a collaborative environment by hosting “lunch and learns,” group sessions, and online communities where users can share tips and learn from each other.
- Actively reach out to users to identify opportunities for improvement in their workflows, offering customized training and support to enhance their experience with Microsoft tools.
- Stay current on the latest updates and best practices in the Microsoft environment, ensuring that your training and recommendations are always up-to-date with the newest features and capabilities.
- Work closely with teams to understand their unique needs and provide solutions that make the most out of the tools available, ensuring they are using the Microsoft suite to its fullest potential.
About you
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies, including Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and others within the Microsoft environment.
- Proven experience in teaching or training users on technology applications. Strong ability to break down complex features into easy-to-understand lessons that empower users.
- Experience in creating engaging, user-friendly documentation and learning resources, such as guides, videos, and FAQs, that cater to a wide range of skill levels.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring confidence and enthusiasm for technology adoption. Adept at making technology accessible to users of varying technical proficiency.
- A self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to engage users, identify learning gaps, and provide solutions that foster technology adoption and usage.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Committed to staying informed about the latest trends, features, and updates in the Microsoft ecosystem and incorporating them into user education.
