About the Job
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll integrate software and systems engineering to develop and maintain reliable, fault-tolerant cloud applications. You will ensure system reliability and uptime, monitor customer environments, troubleshoot, optimise performance, build infrastructure, and automate tasks to reduce manual work. Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Performance: Proactively monitor site performance, manage support requests, respond to critical events, and conduct root cause analysis to address issues.
Customer Support: Handle customer support requests, implement environment changes, improve process documentation, and manage knowledgebase FAQs.
Customer Onboarding: Collaborate with teams to onboard customers, execute checklists, document and train on environments, and lead the go-live process.
Product Improvement: Work with product and customer success teams to provide feedback, enhance products and tools, and drive improvements in customer solutions and internal operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years in DevOps and Azure PaaS
- PowerShell scripting (Az PowerShell)
- Azure configuration (RBAC, web apps, function apps, SQL PaaS, Front Door, virtual networks)
- Cloudflare management (DNS, security, caching)
- Git and branching strategies
- Security (Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory)
- Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and release pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- .NET apps (Framework and Core)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, YAML, Bicep, Terraform)
- Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana)
- Code quality and security (SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify)
- Kubernetes management
- DXP applications (.NET-based)
- Collaboration tools (Zendesk, Confluence, Lucid)
