The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Database Administrator who thrives in dynamic environments. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, and tackle operational tasks. If you’re passionate about optimizing systems, solving complex problems, and delivering impactful results then this could be the contract for you!
Responsibilities
- Manage migration projects, working with teams to meet business requirements.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.
- Implement performance tuning and solve database issues.
- Handle backup and recovery tasks.
- Contribute to security management and regulatory compliance.
- Work with teams to deliver quality testing and documentation.
About you
- Strong background in Oracle Exadata and SQL databases.
- Experience migrating SSRS, SSIS packages, and databases to MS Azure.
- Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and SQL Server Always On HA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Highly regarded)
- Other relevant certifications SQL / Oracle – Also Highly Regarded
