As a result of increased demand, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Admin to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in providing top-tier technical escalation support and customer service while resolving issues and maintaining client environments.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for providing onsite and offsite support to resolve complex issues promptly, including on-call coverage, supporting Windows desktop & server environments, including network support and system backups.
You will also ensure timely request resolution, manage client expectations, and follow up for satisfaction. You will also analyse environments to recommend solutions that reduce risk and improve efficiency. Other duties include maintaining detailed system documentation and change control processes while collaborating with and mentoring junior technicians for effective teamwork.
The technologies that you will be supporting include;
- Windows Servers, Entra and Desktop environments.
- Microsoft 365 & Azure Cloud technologies.
- Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Intune.
- Microsoft Collaboration and Voice Technologies.
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
- Experience with Microsoft, HP, Dell, IBM, Ubiquiti & Sophos.
- Backup, Antivirus & Endpoint protection solutions.
- IP Networking (LAN, SDN & WAN)
