We are looking for a Data Steward to join a team that values free thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners. This is a collaborative environment where you will work across data privacy, compliance, quality, and governance – shaping how data is managed and used.
What’s involved:
- Support the team in shaping/delivering the data strategy, building data governance frameworks, promoting a data driven culture, and improving data literacy.
- Contribute to data compliance, retention, and privacy initiatives, including tooling implementation, stakeholder guidance, and issue investigations.
- Work with data owners to ensure critical data is effectively managed through the creation/ maintenance of data management plans.
- Prepare reports for leadership, deliver training, and support the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- 3 years+ experience in data governance, quality, compliance, or privacy.
- Knowledge of data management frameworks – DMBOK.
- Natural ability to work proactively and drive improvements.
- Background in Tech BA, Data Analyst, or Risk Management would be beneficial.
- Business process knowledge and modelling.
- SQL skills would be an advantage.
- Qualifications in Law, Data, IT or Business desirable.
