The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated helpdesk support individual who is keen to build their career in IT across multiple platforms and technologies. The successful candidate will be a seasoned support engineer with solid networking experience who is ready for the next challenge that will take their career to the next level. 

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working on a broad mix of tech, gaining exposure to enterprise-level environments and infrastructure.

This role is on a rotating roster (including overnights/weekends/public holidays) and suits someone who thrives in a dynamic, 24/7 support environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and respond to incoming requests across applications, network, and core services
  • Monitor infrastructure and systems using in-house tools to detect and respond to issues
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and accurately document actions in the ticketing platform
  • Engage with internal teams, customers and vendors to manage and resolve incidents
  • Assist engineers with network, application, or product-related investigations
  • Track maintenance activities and ensure they are scheduled and communicated effectively
  • Maintain SLA targets and escalate incidents or service requests when required

Requirements for the position:

  • 2+ years in a Service Desk or NOC environment
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, protocols)
  • Experience with incident and change management processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Customer-first mindset and the ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work on a rotating 24/7 roster (includes weekends, overnights, and public holidays)
  • Due to the nature of the position and requiring a specific check, this Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
