Sustainability Consultant (Contract | Brisbane or Sydney)

- 2+ years experience in ESG/Sustainability, or Risk and Assurance.
- Support projects across Brisbane and Sydney.

You will apply both technical and analytical skills to help organisations embed sustainability and risk management practices into their operations and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ESG delivery, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- Apply Australian carbon accounting and emissions reporting standards, including NGER, Safeguard Mechanism, ASRS (AASB S1 & S2), and ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2.
- Report Scope 1, 2 & 3 greenhouse gas emissions and integrate climate related risks into corporate reporting.
- Support climate risk modelling and embed findings into business processes.
- Use tools such as Workiva to prepare and deliver reporting.
- Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver outcomes
- Contribute to AI enabled ESG/data solutions, including prompt testing and interpreting results.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years experience in ESG, sustainability or Risk/Assurance fields.
- experience with carbon accounting methodologies and emissions reporting standards in Australia (e.g., NGER, ISSB S1/S2, GHG Protocol, TCFD).
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Ability to work with data to support decision making and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Workiva experience desirable.
