Are you a strong BAU Systems Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity? I’m partnering with an award winning Consultancy with several clients on the Northside of Brisbane who requires an experienced Engineer to support two sites (located close to each other). You’ll rotate between both locations throughout the week while acting as the final point of escalation across their environment.
About the Role
As the Systems Engineer, you will provide senior-level BAU support across a modern Windows environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain stability, resolve complex issues, and ensure key systems run efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as the final escalation point across the Windows environment
- Supporting Citrix environments and related technologies
- Managing backups, databases, and bespoke/security applications
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues
- Ensuring operational continuity across two Northside sites
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both strong technical depth and a reliable, customer-focused approach.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory for required checks)
- Experience in:
- Windows Server & Windows environments
- Citrix administration
- Backup technologies
- Database support
- Security and bespoke application support
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to operate autonomously across multiple sites
- Baseline clearance (highly regarded)
- Can start within a 2 week notice period
- Located in Brisbane
