About the Role
Join a large Queensland Government department delivering critical services across the state. This enterprise-scale environment has a strong focus on security, compliance, and service reliability. You’ll work in a structured team supporting core M365 collaboration and messaging platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Microsoft Exchange Online administration (mail flow, routing, shared mailboxes, distribution groups)
  • Lead Tier 2 & 3 support and escalations for M365 messaging services
  • Manage major incidents and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Drive Microsoft Purview and eDiscovery activities
  • Plan upgrades and decommission legacy email systems
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security and third-party vendors
  • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs
  • Provide guidance to junior staff and participate in after-hours maintenance as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on Exchange Online administration experience
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments
  • Tier 2/3 escalation experience
  • Exposure to Microsoft Purview and eDiscovery
  • Familiarity with structured incident, change, and ITIL processes
