A Technology business that is NOT an MSP or Consultancy, which operates nationally, has a unique and business-critical service offering that they provide.
They have an impressive track record for growth, but what is more impressive is how they treat their staff as individuals over numbers. They are based within 5kms of the CBD. This business is an NFP organisation and is looking for a Desktop Support Officer.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to person for anything tech-related – hardware, software, troubleshooting, and device setups. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be supporting users directly, resolving issues, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 support across desktop, laptop, mobile and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms
- Respond to support tickets via phone, video, and internal systems
- Set up new devices and manage hardware deliveries and escalations
- Maintain and update asset and incident records in the ITSM platform
- Support Microsoft 365, Zoom, Teams, and other collaboration tools
- Use SCCM, Intune and Jamf for deployments and endpoint management
- Escalate technical issues to senior team members or vendors when required
Requirements for the position
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and iOS environments
- Familiar with Active Directory, Exchange, and RDP
- Hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune and/or Jamf
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously
- Eye for detail and a proactive approach to support
