The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Level 2 Engineer to support both internal systems and external client environments. This role is ideal for someone from an MSP background, ready to step into more technical work across both BAU and projects. You’ll be the first point of escalation from Level 1, working across systems, networks, and infrastructure changes.
  
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Resolve L1 escalations across the network, server, and systems
  • Troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki
  • Perform patching, changes, and system updates
  • Proactively address recurring issues and incidents
  • Mentor the L1 team and contribute to documentation
  • Manage triage boards, phones, and ad-hoc tickets
  • Escalate when needed, but resolve independently when possible

Requiermntys 

  • 3+ years’ experience in IT support roles 
  • Proven MSP experience supporting multiple client environments
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, network infrastructure, and system administration
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts: Layer 2, routing, switching, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, and tools like Putty/SSH
  • Self-starter attitude, comfortable handling everything from routine tasks to complex projects and changes

Highly Regarded

  • Certifications: CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Admin
  • Hands-on experience with Fortigate, Cisco switching, and Meraki firewalls
  • Understanding of VPNs, VLANs, firewall rules, and network troubleshooting
  • Exposure to DHCP/DNS configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience contributing to projects (network/system upgrades, migrations, deployments)
