The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Network Admin to join their team in an internal capacity where you will be supporting network operations, documentation, and automation processes that keeping their infrastructure running smoothly.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working on a broad mix of tech, gaining exposure to enterprise-level environments and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate network documentation and service diagrams.
  • Assist with incident and change management activities.
  • Perform basic network configuration tasks (Cisco preferred, but Juniper/HP experience is welcome).
  • Use monitoring tools such as LibreNMS, Icinga2, and Netbox to audit alarms and ensure network reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to scripting (Python or similar languages).
  • Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and capacity planning.
  • Support compliance audits and help streamline processes.

Requirements for the position:

  • Located in Brisbane or are looking to relocate within Australia
  • Due to the nature of the position and requiring a specific check, this Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a network support or administration role.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and configuration management.
  • Interest in scripting or automation (Python experience highly regarded).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
