The Role
This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll monitor, maintain, and support high-performance network infrastructure. You will provide first and second-level troubleshooting, act as a technical escalation point for network incidents, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to restore services efficiently. You’ll also support network change activities and contribute to incident management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the network to identify and resolve issues before they impact services.
- Respond to and troubleshoot escalated network incidents with urgency and precision.
- Act as a technical escalation point for internal teams, supporting incident resolution and service continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate planned and emergency changes.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, escalations, and network changes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through trend analysis, post-incident reviews, and process enhancement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a NOC or network support role, ideally within telecommunications.
- Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems.
- Networking qualifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL framework and incident/change management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to stay calm and effective under pressure, particularly during major incidents.
- Strong team orientation, proactive mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Due to the nature of the position and requiring a specific check, this Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
