Sales & Account Management, Sales Rep

About the Role

An established and growing technology services provider is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help generate new business opportunities.

In this role, you’ll focus on identifying, engaging and qualifying potential customers, creating a steady pipeline of meetings for the senior sales team. You’ll work across phone, email and LinkedIn outreach while learning the fundamentals of technology services sales in a fast-moving Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is motivated, organised and keen to build a long-term career in technology sales.
  
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research and identify organisations that fit the company’s target customer profile
  • Prospect for new opportunities through phone, email and LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against key criteria such as decision-makers, business needs and urgency
  • Schedule discovery meetings and sales conversations for senior sales leaders
  • Maintain an organised pipeline and record activity within the CRM system
  • Capture insights from prospect conversations and share them with the sales team
  • Assist with basic follow-ups, proposal coordination and meeting preparation when required
  • Represent the business professionally across all client interactions

  • Interest in technology, IT services and business operations

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, customer success or business development
  • Exposure to CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
  • Understanding of managed IT services or IT support environments
  • Experience using LinkedIn for professional outreach
