Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer

Humanised Group is partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to appoint a Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-performing AI team delivering real-world AI products at enterprise scale.
This isn’t a research role. We’re looking for someone who has successfully designed, built and deployed AI products into production. If your experience is primarily experimentation, proof of concepts or model development without delivering production-ready solutions, this role won’t be the right fit.
You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, design solutions and build secure, scalable AI applications that deliver measurable business value.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and deploy enterprise AI and ML solutions from concept through to production.
- Develop GenAI applications including RAG, AI agents, copilots and intelligent document processing.
- Build solutions across cloud AI platforms including Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock and Databricks.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand complex problems and translate them into practical AI solutions.
- Deliver production-grade software with strong engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, monitoring and observability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What we’re looking for To be successful, you’ll demonstrate:
- A proven track record of building and deploying AI products into production. This is essential.
- Strong Python software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI, including RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering and LLM integrations.
- Experience delivering solutions across Azure, AWS and/or Databricks.
- An understanding of MLOps, deployment, monitoring and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Highly regarded
- Experience working within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Experience leading technical discussions with clients and translating business problems into AI solutions.
- Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead.
- Exposure to enterprise governance, security and Responsible AI practices.
