Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing client networks.
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, and network systems with precision.
- Providing top-tier customer support—because great tech is nothing without great service.
- Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and your team.
- Troubleshooting issues like asking the right questions, and solving problems effectively and fast.
- Keeping accurate records—because details matter.
- Travelling to customer sites (including in rural areas) to troubleshoot, install, and keep systems running smoothly.
- Owning projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering results.
- Writing clear, accurate documentation—because a great engineer knows the value of clarity.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in a client-facing network engineering role.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Advanced knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and network devices.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing devices from Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, FortiGate, or Sophos.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft 365.
- A problem-solving mindset—you take ownership, find solutions, and get things done.
- Strong documentation skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites—locally and rurally.
- A can-do attitude, always eager to learn, grow, and step outside your comfort zone.
